The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has conducted the Preliminary Exam on August 5, 2018. The result of the Pre Exam has not been declared yet, however, the dates for the Main Exam have been declared. The Main Exam has been scheduled on 23 and 24 December 2018. The result of the Pre Exam will be declared soon. So, the serious candidates would have started their preparation for the Main Exam.
In the Preliminary Exam, there are 150 questions and the total marks will be 200. There is negative marking in the exam and for every wrong answer, 0.33 mark is deducted to arrive at the correct score. In this article, we shall discuss the cut-off of the previous exams conducted by the RPSC so that the candidates can have an idea what will be the expected cut-off for this year’s exam.
The RPSC conducted the Pre Exam on 28 August 2016. In RPSC 2016 Pre, 303661 candidates appeared in the exam, out of which 11046 candidates were declared qualified for the Main Exam. The cut-off for the Exam is given below:

A quick look at the trends in cut off for the General Category
On analysing the above cut off, it is very clear that it is increasing every year. Since, the result of this exam has not been declared yet, so we have to wait what will be the cut off this year. The candidates who will pass the Pre Exam will be appearing in the Main Exam.
